Since 2015, CFS has been tasked by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to provide consultative services for the preparation of China’s periodic reports on the status of 7 elements inscribed on the Urgent Safeguarding List, 35 elements inscribed on the Representative List and 1 element selected for the Register of Good Safeguarding Practices. A collaborative mechanism between the concerned government bodies, communities and CFS has been established for the preparation of these reports.
